Nourysh Chargeback Policy
At Nourysh, we manage chargebacks for sellers by working directly with payment providers. If a customer disputes a transaction, we provide evidence, like proof of delivery and customer communications, to support the validity of the transaction. Banks review both sides and usually decide within 30-90 days.
Understanding Chargebacks
Chargebacks occur when customers dispute charges with their bank, often due to unrecognized charges, concerns about product quality, or perceived errors. The bank temporarily withholds funds while investigating.
What Happens Next?
When a dispute arises, we may ask for supporting documents like fulfillment records to help build your case. If the bank sides with the customer, the funds are refunded to them, and a chargeback fee is applied. These fees are automatically deducted, and the bank’s decision finalizes the process.
Best Practices to Prevent Chargebacks
Here are tips to help reduce disputes:
- Set Clear Expectations: Use accurate product descriptions, keep a transparent refund policy, and communicate order updates promptly.
- Respond Quickly to Inquiries: Address questions and refund requests to avoid misunderstandings.
Monitor Refund Requests: Resolve customer concerns early on to prevent escalation.
